Heb je weleens het gevoel dat je iemand al kende terwijl je deze persoon voor het eerst ontmoette? Of het gevoel gehad dat je iemand meteen mocht of juist een enorme aversie tegen iemand had? Dit heeft vaak te maken met zielsconnecties. In een vorig leven(s) ben je diens ziel al eens tegengekomen. Het is mogelijk dat jullie familie, geliefden, vrienden of collega’s van elkaar waren. Of juist vijanden. Ik geloof dat deze connecties niet zomaar stoppen omdat het om energie gaat. Ik praat graag meer in termen van energie dan in labels maar er bestaan meerdere zielsconnecties zoals; soulmates, karmische relaties, je tweelingziel. Vaak kom je dezelfde zielen in een ander leven weer tegen omdat je nog karma uit te werken hebt samen. Dit worden ook wel karmische relaties genoemd. Het kan bijvoorbeeld zo zijn dat jullie in een romantische relatie zaten waarbij een persoon de ander heeft verlaten en diegene daarmee ontzettend heeft gekwetst. Soms kom je de ander in dit leven weer tegen om bijvoorbeeld dit keer wel een langdurige relatie of een andere positieve ervaring te creëren samen. Soms maak je ook bewust afspraken om elkaar weer te ontmoeten in een ander leven. Soulmates en tweelingzielen (hier zal ik een andere keer over schrijven) worden vaak heel romantisch afgebeeld. Ze bestaan zeker maar het is niet altijd het fijne plaatje als je zou verwachten. Karmische relaties zijn er om je een spiegel voor te houden of om lessen van te leren. Vaak komen juist de zielen op je pad die je triggeren om te mogen helen. De lessen zijn soms hardnekkig, juist door de geschiedenis die jullie delen maar dit maakt dat je op een gegeven moment de les wel moet leren omdat je geen andere keus meer hebt. Deze heling kan zowel op onbewust als op bewust niveau plaats vinden, dit heeft ook te maken met het bewustzijn van beide zielen. Soms ben je niet meer in elkaars leven maar steun je elkaar op onbewust niveau nog wel. Zo geloof ik ook dat iedereen een zielengroep heeft; een groep van zielen met wie je de afspraak hebt gemaakt om elkaar van dichtbij of veraf te blijven steunen. Dit kan dus op aarde zijn maar dit is niet gebonden aan een afstand.

Have you ever felt like you already knew someone when you first met them? Or had the feeling that you liked someone immediately or had a huge aversion to someone? This often has to do with soul connections. In a previous life(s) you have encountered this person’s soul. It is possible that you were family, lovers, friends or colleagues of each other. Or enemies. I believe that these connections do not just stop because they are energy. I like to talk more in terms of energy than labels but there are multiple soul connections such as; soulmates, karmic relationships, your twin flame. Often you meet the same souls again in various lifes because you still have karma to work out together. These are also called karmic relationships. For example, you may have been in a romantic relationship in which one person left the other and hurt him or her deeply. Sometimes you meet the other person again in a different life, for example this time to create a long-term relationship or another positive experience together. Sometimes you make conscious agreements to meet again in another life. Soulmates and twin souls (I will write about this another time) are often portrayed very romantically. They certainly exist but it’s not always the pretty picture as you might expect. Karmic relationships are there to hold up a mirror to you or to teach you lessons. Often the very souls that come across your path trigger you to heal. The lessons are sometimes painful, precisely because of the history you share but this means that at a certain point you have to learn the lesson because you have no other choice. This healing can take place both on a subconscious and a conscious level, this also has to do with the consciousness of both souls. Sometimes you are no longer in each other’s lives but you still support each other on a subconscious level. I also believe that everyone has a soul group, a group of souls with whom you have made the agreement to continue to support each other from near or far. This can be on earth but is not bound to a distance.
